Website or blog - You develop a site or blog with information that an online surfer is looking for. This is called an informational website and still works very well today (01/29/12). This is also called niche marketing.
Web 2.0 - Or social media marketing. Hundreds of social sites designed for people who want socialize with other like minded Entreprenuers or Internet Marketers in hopes of finding new leads and or sales. Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin to name a few. Thousands of marketers use social media to gain new customers. However, it's never a sure thing and doing some healthy research should be done before advertising on any of these sites.
Ebook Marketing - Writing and publishing an ebook for revenue or to get more subscribers. You must have good content in order to make this work. Publishing an ebook with re-done scraped up content will not do. It must contain useful information for the end user.
PPC - Pay per click is one quick way to get visitors and possibly a sale. Google's adwords, Microsoft's Advertising center, and a few other programs that will let you advertise your services and or products.
