Legitimate free traffic for today’s websites or blogs.

Getting free traffic to your website or blog today is getting harder and harder to do.  Everyday new websites are trying to get top billing on google, MSN, Yahoo and other top search engines.  Millions of websites are popping up every single day.

Many of these folks use black hat techniques or use phony submission services in the hopes of getting thousands of hits or visitors.   Using the methods above is like trying to shoot down a jet plane with a 22 rifle…ain’t gonna happen.

You can spend a small fortune trying to figure out what works but in my opinion there is only one way to get legitimate free traffic.

Write articles for really good non-paying website traffic.

1. You can get free website traffic by writing articles on your niche and submitting them to article directories.  Millions of successful Internet Marketing folks do this on a daily basis.  Writing good content articles is a powerful way to get your site or blog top page rank listing you are looking for.
2. A really good way to write and distrubute articles is to submit them to numerous article directories.   Here are the key benefits this provides. It helps improve your search rankings (because of hundreds of quality backlinks that quickly add-up over time), It will get your pages into the search engines quick (because of search engine spiders pouring into your sites), Establishes you as the expert (and makes you “famous” in your market), And sends you FREE targeted traffic from website owners and e-zine publishers who pick up your articles.
3. Time…over time your articles will be indexed by other directories, blogs and websites that are looking for good content.  This is what most of the top search engines like.  Good quality back links that have been acquired over time.

There are other ways to acquire legitimate free traffic but article marketing is the number one way to go.

You should stay away from those who claim that submitting your website to thousands will get you traffic. This is nonsense. What you need to do is submit your website by hand to the top three Search Engines.  I’ll list them right here.

1. Google – Submit your site here
2. Yahoo – Submit if yourself right here
3. MSN or (Live)

Do not pay anyone who claims they can submit your site to thousand for $29.99 you will bascially be wasting your money period.  Even the free submissions are useless just don’t do it.

Of course Google is the number search engine and many newbie marketers think it is hard to get their website or blog listed.  This is untrue. You can also get top billing for your chosen keywords and it can be done without forking out one single dime. 

What you do need are high pr backlinks and the easiest way to get them  is to submit an article about your niche and submit it to the top article directories.  Click here for my top ten artricle directories. By the way PR is an ancrynom for Page Rank.  The higher the pr backlink the more important the google algorithms will rank your own site.

This is soooo ridicuously easy and it doesn’t cost anything except your time to write an article.  As you can see by my own writing it does not have to be grammatically correct.  Just write as if you were talking to me in person.  It works people.

If you do not like to write then by all means hire someone to do it for you.  There lots of good websites that can help you achieve this.  If you need great content for your website or blog but don’t like to write I highly recommend hiring a professional copywriter.  And remember if you pay for it you can call it your own!

Getting free Internet traffic from the search engines takes a little time, patience and writing or developing a site or blog with good original content.
