Online Internet Marketing Scams

Here are few that I highly suggest you stay away from.

  1. MLM (multi level marketing) programs are infamous for ripping off the unsuspecting newbie marketing person.   Offline MLM marketing abounds everywhere and statistics show 90% of all people who start MLM never become successful.  This goes for online MLM programs as well.
  2. Internet Marketing Guru’s will make you think they have the answer  to all of your Internet Marketing problems, be it traffic, email marketing, SEO, social websites, twitter and the latest and greatest blogging program or software.  Don’t get me wrong there are many Guru’s who are legitimate and can really help you make a living online.  But these are few and far between.  I will tell you which ones are legitimate. Be sure to research any Guru you decide to follow. It can be as simple as googling their name.
  3. There are also thousands of get rich quick website schemes.  Some of the most notable are “free google money” or “google money tree” and the most well-known of all “google cash system”.  Folks still fall for the hyped up sales page and letters they receive.
  4. Late night informercials are also easy prey for the unsuspecting “How can I make money now” person.  I’ve done lots of research on these ridiculous get rich schemes.  The only person who benefits from this type of program are the owners and founders.
  5. The lure of work at home and get rich quick businesses abound on the Internet and television today. Most are complete rip-offs.  I too have been suckered into believing that by giving out my credit card information I can easily have that Mansion, Corvette, and swimming pool in two months or so. Many work at home businesses do work but again these websites are the minority.  There are some legitimate work at home business but these are few a far between.

You might make some money with the above opportunities but the road to “Making a successful website or business” is really difficult.    How do I know? I’ve been there. So what can someone do to make extra income or a full time living online today?

What are some legitimate way to make money online?

Market whatever it is YOU want to market!  But be very wary of Internet Scams they are everywhere.

What is the big secret about Internet Marketing?  I’ll tell you right now…there is NO secret.  I will be 100% honest with you.  The Internet is a big audience and the answer to marketing, selling, advertising, writing, or just about anything related to IM is online and available for free.  There are only 4 requirements that you will need to profit online. Here they are:

  1. A good profitable domain name: Get one here namecheap.com

  4. A fierce determination to become successful.

That is it.  It took me years to come to that conclusion.  Thousands upon thousands of marketing advice from thousands of people who think they have the answers.  Charging you hundreds if not thousands of big bucks to make you think this is what you need in order to become successful.  This is what I say…Bullshit!  There are thousands of internet marketing rip-offs.  Remember research, research and research more.
